MW: U.S. stock-index futures little changed after ADP

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- U.S. stock futures edged slightly lower Wednesday after ADP data had U.S. companies adding 192,000 workers in January. The limited action came ahead of a Commerce Department report that could show the nation's economic growth weakened in the fourth quarter. Futures for the Dow industrials DJH3 0.00% were off 6 points at 13,902. Those for the S&P 500 SPH3 -0.19% declined 2.6 points to 1,502.50. Futures for the Nasdaq 100 NDH3 +0.07% retreated 2 points to 2,740.75.
