MY: Crude oil price for Indian basket rises 0.6% on Feb 4
The international crude oil price for Indian Basket increased 0.59% to USD 113.16/barrel (bbl) on Feb. 04, 2013. This was higher than the price of USD 112.50/bbl prevailing on the previous trading day of Feb. 01, 2013.
In rupee terms also, the crude oil price declined to Rs 5,994.09/bbl on Feb. 04, 2013 as compared to Rs 5,998.50/bbl on Feb. 01, 2013.
This was due to rupee appreciation as rupee dollar-exchange rate on Feb. 04, 2013 at Rs 52.97/USD against Rs 53.32/USD on previous trading day of Feb. 01, 2013.
