RTTN: Dollar Little Changed After US Weekly Jobless Claims Report
The U.S. weekly jobless claims dropped 341,000 in the week ended February 9th from previous week's revised figure of 368,000. Economists had expected claims to decline to 360,000 in the week from 366,000 originally reported in the previous week.
The US dollar was little changed against its major rivals after the report. As of 8:32 am ET, the greenback was trading at 1.5515 against the pound, 0.9228 against the Swiss franc, 93.40 against the yen and 1.3338 against the euro.
