TH: Petrol prices hiked by Rs 1.50/litre; diesel by 45 paise
NEW DELHI, FEB 15:
The prices of petrol are increased by Rs 1.50 a litre and diesel by Rs 0.45 a litre (excluding local levies) effective Friday midnight.
“Crude oil price has increased from $109.08/bbl to $ 113.24/bbl, while International petrol prices have increased from $119.59/bbl to $128.57/bbl. The Rupee-Dollar exchange rate has however improved from Rs.54.78 to Rs.53.43 per during the period. The Corporation has been compelled to pass on the increase in prices to consumers,” IOC said in a statement.
