MW: Treasurys fall; little reaction to economic data
By Saumya Vaishampayan
NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Treasurys fell Friday, pushing yields higher, as they showed little reaction to industrial production data and the Empire State manufacturing index. Yields on the benchmark 10-year U.S. Treasury note 10_YEAR +0.25% rose 1 basis point to 2.01% in early trading. Yields move inversely to price and one basis point is one one-hundredth of a percentage point.
