MW: Treasurys slip ahead of Italian results, Bernanke

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Treasurys slipped on Monday, pushing yields higher, ahead of the conclusion of the Italian elections at 9 a.m. Eastern and Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke's semi-annual testimony to Congress on Tuesday. Yields on the benchmark 10-year U.S. Treasury note 10_YEAR +1.12% rose one basis point to 1.98% in morning trade. Yields move inversely to prices and one basis point is one one-hundredth of a percentage point.
