MW:U.S. stock futures erase bulk of losses after data

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- U.S. stock futures turned higher Wednesday after reports had retail sales and import prices rising 1.1% in February. Off about 15 points ahead of the economic data, futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average DJM3 -0.18% were recently up 6 points at 14,392. Futures for the S&P 500 index SPM3 -0.16% advanced 1.2 point to 1,548. Futures for the Nasdaq 100 NDM3 -0.16% rose 1.5 point to 2,799.50.
