NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Treasurys edged up on Thursday, pushing yields lower, as investors considered economic data. Jobless claims increased less than expected to 336,000 in the week ended March 16 while U.S. home prices rose 0.6% in January on a seasonally adjusted basis. Yields on the benchmark 10-year U.S. Treasury note 10_YEAR -1.07% fell 1 basis point to 1.94% in morning trade. Yields move inversely to prices and one percentage point is one 1/100th of a basis point.
