NEW DELHI: Nickel prices eased by 0.11 per cent to Rs 916.80 per kg in futures trade today as speculators reduced their holdings on sluggish demand from alloy-makers in the spot market.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, nickel for delivery in March declined by Re 1, or 0.11 per cent to Rs 916.80 per kg in business turnover of 11,976 lots.
Likewise, the metal for delivery in April shed 80 paise, or 0.09 per cent to Rs 924 per kg in 948 lots.
Market analysts said speculators reduced their positions due to sluggish demand from alloy-makers in the spot market mainly helped nickel prices to trade lower at futures trade.
