KARACHI: The rupee continued its downward trend against the dollar on the sixth consecutive day on Friday due to rising demand for the dollar in the interbank market, dealers said.
The rupee posted a decline of two paisas to close at 98.44 against the previous closing of 98.42. The rupee extended its firmness against the dollar in the open market.
