NEW DELHI: Tracking a weak global trend, crude palm oil prices weakened by 0.15 per cent to Rs 453.50 per 10 kg in futures market today as speculators offloaded their positions.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude palm oil for delivery in June weakened by 70 paise, or 0.15 per cent, to Rs 453.50 per 10 kg in business turnover of 20 lots.

Similarly, the oil for delivery in May traded lower by 50 paise, or 0.11 per cent, to Rs 454.80 per 10 kg in 87 lots.

Analysts said speculators offloaded their positions in tandem with a weak global trend, mainly influenced crude palm oil prices at futures trade.
