MY:Rupee marginally down against dollar in noon trade
Indian rupee was trading lower against the greenback in noon trade on Monday. Rupee was trading down 2 paise or 0.03% against US dollar to Rs 53.96 compared to previous close of 53.94 (12.11 p.m.). It opened at Rs 53.78 against US dollar.
In the spot market, the Dollar Index decreased 0.02% to 82.11 compared to previous close of 82.12 (02:30 ET).
Euro - USD was trading at 1.31 down 0.05% while USD - Japanese Yen was trading at 99.24 up 0.25% (02:39 ET).
