BT:Indian rupee gains 10 paise vs dollar in early trade

Dealers said selling of dollars by exporters and euro's gains against the American currency mainly supported the rupee.
The rupee had declined to a 10-month low on Thursday before closing with 21-paise loss at 56.17, making imports costlier that is likely to worsen government's Current Account Deficit (CAD) woes and hit the common man hard.
Meanwhile, the BSE benchmark index Sensex fell by 81.50 points, or 0.40 per cent, to 20,066.14 in early trade on Thursday.
