MY:Global crude oil price of Indian Basket drops 0.4%
The international crude oil price of Indian Basket went down 0.39% to USD 101.19 a barrel on Wednesday, May 29, 2013. This was higher than the price of USD 101.59 a barrel on Tuesday.
The crude oil price in rupee terms, on the contrary increased 0.50% to Rs 5,690.93 a barrel on Wednesday as compared to Rs 5,662.63 a barrel on Tuesday. This was due to price increase in dollar terms and rupee depreciation.
Rupee dollar exchange rate on Wednesday was Rs 56.24/USD against Rs 55.74/USD on previous trading day.
