WSJ:Key Three-month Dollar and Euro Borrowing Rates Rise

By Nick Cawley

The cost of borrowing dollars and euros for three months in the London interbank market moved higher Wednesday while the sterling rate was unchanged.

Data from the British Bankers' Association showed the three-month dollar London Interbank Offered Rate, known as Libor, rose to 0.27445%, from 0.27395% on Tuesday.

The spread between the three-month dollar Libor and overnight index swaps, a barometer of market stress, remained unchanged at 16.6 basis point.

The euro rate rose to 0.11714% compared with 0.11643%, while the sterling rate remained unmoved at 0.50738%.
