NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Treasurys moved slightly lower Thursday after the number of people applying for unemployment benefits fell last week by 11,000 to 346,000, roughly in line with expectations. However, the data showed little change in the labor market ahead of hotly anticipated nonfarm payrolls and unemployment reports on Friday. The 10-year note 10_YEAR +0.10% yield, which moves inversely to price, rose 1 basis point to 2.103%. The 30-year bond 30_YEAR +0.15% yield rose a basis point to 3.256%, and the 5-year note 5_YEAR +0.10% yield rose half a basis point to 1.029%.
