MW: Natural-gas supply rises by 95 bln cubic feet: EIA

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) - Natural-gas futures turned positive on Thursday after the U.S. Energy Information Administration reported a rise of 95 billion cubic feet in U.S. inventories for the week ended June 7. Analysts polled by Platts forecasted a net addition of between 94 billion cubic feet and 98 billion cubic feet. Total stocks now stand at 2.347 trillion cubic feet, down 587 billion cubic feet from the year-ago level and 58 billion cubic feet below the five-year average, the government said. July natural gas NGN13 +0.21% was up 1 cent at $3.79 per million British thermal units. It was trading at $3.74 shortly before the data.
