MW: Treasurys edge higher ahead of 3-year note auction

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Treasury prices were higher on Tuesday ahead of a $32 billion auction of 3-year notes 3_YEAR +0.44% . The Treasury Department will also sell $21 billion of 10-year notes 10_YEAR -0.23% on Wednesday and $13 billion of 30-year bonds 30_YEAR +0.14% on Thursday. The 3-year note yield, which moves inversely to price, was down slightly at 0.681%, while the 10-year note yield was down half a basis point at 2.632%. The 30-year bond yield was down half a basis point at 3.629%.
