RTTN:NZ Dollar Rises To 2-day High Against Euro, Greenback
The New Zealand dollar outperformed against most of its major opponents in early European deals on Friday.
The kiwi climbed to 2-day highs of 1.6566 against the euro and 0.7929 against the US dollar around 3:15 am ET.
The NZ dollar also recovered some of its corrective losses against the yen, bouncing back to 79.35 around 3:20 am ET from previous low of 79.0.
Against the Australian dollar, the kiwi continued to stay above the key 1.16 level for the second consecutive session, rising as much as 1.1574 around 3:10 am ET, its strongest level since November 2008.
On the upside, the New Zealand currency may find target levels at 79.50 against the yen, 0.7970 against the greenback, 1.1515 against the aussie and 1.6450 against the euro.
