ET:South Korea won off 7-week high, supported by weak dollar
SEOUL: The South Korean won retreated after hitting a 7-week high against the dollar on Monday on weaker-than-expected dollar sales by exporters, but it was supported as the dollar remained on the defensive abroad.
The currency was quoted at 1,110.5 per dollar at the end of onshore trade, off a session high of 1,108.7, which was its strongest since June 7. It was slightly above Friday's domestic close of 1,111.1.
