Eurozone producer price index for June is set for release at 5:00 am ET Friday. The euro showed mixed trend against other major currencies prior to the data. While the euro rose against the greenback, it held steady against the yen. Against the franc and the pound, the euro dropped.
As of 4:55 am ET, the euro was quoted at 1.2384 against the franc, 0.8718 against the pound, 1.3216 against the greenback and 131.68 against the yen.
