RTTN:Indian Rupee Slightly Off Early Low Against U.S. Dollar
The Indian rupee has came back from some of its early losses against the U.S. dollar in afternoon deals on Monday.
The rupee, which slipped to 64.35 against the greenback in early trades, is presently worth 64.1675. The pair ended Friday's trading at 63.30.
Over the weekend, India's Finance Minister P. Chidambaram held meeting with foreign investors to attract capital, reports said.
Secretary for Department of Financial Services Rajeev Takru reportedly said that the government measures to improve dollar inflows would be announced in few days.
