MY:India crude oil basket price declines 0.2% to USD 107.52 a barrel
International crude oil price of Indian basket went down by 0.19% to USD 107.52 a barrel on Oct. 9, 2013. This was higher than the price of USD 107.73 a barrel which prevailed on the previous trading day of Oct. 8, 2013.
In rupee terms however, the crude oil price increased to Rs 6,657.64 a barrel on Oct 9, 2013 as compared to Rs 6,645.86 a barrel on Oct. 8, 2013. This was owing to price increase in dollar terms and also because of rupee depreciation.
