MY:India crude oil basket price declines marginally to USD 108.71 a barrel
The international crude oil price of Indian Basket went down 0.18% to USD 108.71 a barrel (bbl) on Oct. 14, 2013. This was higher than the price of USD 108.91/bbl which prevailed on the previous trading day of Oct. 11, 2013.
In rupee terms however, the crude oil price increased slightly to Rs 6,663.92 a bbl on Oct. 14, 2013 as compared to Rs 6,660.94 /bbl on Oct. 11, 2013. This was owing to rupee depreciation.
Rupee closed stronger with exchange rate on Oct. 14, 2013 was Rs 61.30/USD against Rs 61.16/bbl on previous trading day of Oct. 11, 2013.
