LCU:Euro Mixed Ahead Of Eurozone's Oct. Producer Price Index
BRUSSELS (Alliance News) - Eurostat is set to issue Eurozone producer prices for October at 5:00 am ET. Producer prices are forecast to drop 0.2 percent month-on-month after rising 0.1 percent in September. Year-on-year PPI is expected to have widened its contraction to -1.0 percent in October from -0.9 percent in the previous month.
The euro showed mixed trading ahead of the report. While the common currency edged higher against the US dollar, it drifted weaker against the rest of majors. As of 4:55 am ET, the euro was trading at 1.3570 against the dollar, 139.55 against the yen, 0.8267 against the pound and 1.2295 against the Swiss franc.
