The U.S. dollar continued its descending trend against the Swiss franc and the euro in late Asian trading on Thursday. The greenback fell to 0.8983 against the franc, a level unseen since October 30. The greenback declined to a 5-week low of 1.3638 against the euro from Wednesday's close of 1.3592.
