NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Treasury prices held higher Tuesday after data showed consumer prices were unchanged in November. The core consumer price index, which excludes volatile categories like food and energy, was up 0.2%. The benchmark 10-year note 10_YEAR -0.03% yield, which falls as prices rise, was down 1 basis point at 2.869%. The 30-year bond 30_YEAR +0.33% yield was down slightly at 3.896%, and the 5-year note 5_YEAR -0.72% yield was down 2.5 basis points at 1.510%.
