MC:Ringgit lower against US dollar amid weaker demand
KUALA LUMPUR - The ringgit opened lower against the US dollar in the early trading Monday on weaker demand as investors' appetite shift towards the greenback.
At 9.07 am, the ringgit was quoted at 3.2885/2915 to a US dollar from Friday's close at 3.2850/2880.
A dealer said the US dollar inched up following an upbeat US economy outlook by outgoing Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke.
