RTTN:Euro Mixed Ahead Of Eurozone Economic Confidence Index
At 5.00 am ET Thursday, the European Commission is set to release Eurozone economic confidence survey data. The economic sentiment index is seen at 99.1 in December, up from 98.5 in November.
The euro experienced mixed trading against its major counterparts prior to the data. While the euro advanced against the greenback and the yen, it held steady against the franc. Against the pound, the euro retreated slightly.
As of 4:55 am ET, the euro was quoted at 1.3607 against the greenback, 1.2364 against the franc, 0.8265 against the pound and 142.91 against the yen.
