BRUSSELS (Alliance News) - The British currency continued previous session's rally against its major rivals before the London session open on Friday.
The pound rose to 4-day highs of 1.6358 against the US dollar and 167.17 against the yen around 2:50 am ET. On the upside, the British currency may find target levels at 168.0 against the yen and 1.6420 against the dollar.
The pound also advanced to a session's highs of 1.4737 against the Swiss franc and 0.8333 against the euro around 2:45 am ET. If the sterling extends its uptrend, likely resistance levels are seen at 1.48 against the Swiss franc and 0.8350 against the euro.
