The international crude oil price of Indian Basket fell 0.04% to USD 107.54 a barrel (bbl) on Feb. 21, 2014. This was lower than the price of USD 107.58 a bbl on previous trading day of Feb. 20, 2014.
In rupee terms also, the price of Indian Basket fell in tandem to Rs 6,684.69 a bbl on Feb. 21, 2014 as compared to Rs 6,700.08 a bbl on Feb. 20, 2014. This was due to fall in price in dollar terms and rupee appreciation.
Rupee closed stronger at Rs 62.16 a USD on Feb. 21, 2014 as against Rs 62.28 a US dollar on previous trading of Feb. 20, 2014.
