The pound slipped against other major currencies in early European deals on Tuesday. The pound reached a 4-day low of 1.4504 against the franc, compared to Monday's closing value of 1.4528. The pound fell to a 4-day low of 1.6594 versus the dollar around 4:00 am ET. Against the yen, the pound eased from an early session's high of 169.61 and declined to 168.76. The pound fell back to a 4-day low of 0.8380 against the euro, moving away from an early high of 0.8362.
