ET:Crude palm oil futures remain higher on spot demand
NEW DELHI: Crude palm oil prices gained 1.08 per cent to Rs 596.50 per 10 kg in futures trading as participants created positions following good demand at spot markets.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude palm oil for delivery in April rose by Rs 6.40, or 1.08 per cent, to Rs 596.50 per 10 kg in business turnover of 148 lots.
Likewise, the oil for delivery in March rose by Rs 6.30, or 1.06 per cent, to Rs 595.40 per 10 kg in 98 lots.
Analysts said a pick up in spot demand mainly led to rise in crude palm oil prices at futures trade.
