The international crude oil price of Indian Basket went up 0.09% to USD 104.90 a barrel (bbl) on Mar. 27, 2014. This was higher than the price of USD 104.81 a bbl on previous trading day of Mar. 26, 2014.
In rupee terms, price of Indian Basket increased marginally to Rs 6,307.64 a bbl on Mar. 27, 2014 as compared to Rs 6,306.42 a bbl on Mar. 26, 2014. This was due to increase in price in dollar terms and rupee appreciation.
Rupee closed stronger at Rs 60.13 a USD on Mar. 27, 2014 as against Rs 60.17 a USD on previous trading of Mar. 26, 2014.
