MY:Crude oil price of Indian Basket falls 1.8% to USD 102.68 a barrel
The international crude oil price of Indian Basket went down 1.80% to USD 102.68 a barrel (bbl) on Apr. 2, 2014. This was lower than the price of USD 104.56 a bbl on previous trading day of Apr. 1, 2014.
In rupee terms, price of Indian Basket decreased to Rs 6,124.86 a bbl on Apr. 2, 2014 as compared to Rs 6,284.06 a bbl on Apr. 1, 2014. This was due to decline in price in dollar terms and rupee appreciation.
Rupee closed stronger at Rs 59.65 a USD on Apr. 2, 2014 as against Rs 60.10 a USD on previous trading of Apr. 1, 2014.
