NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- The dollar swung against the euro Friday after data showed the U.S. added 217,000 jobs in May. Economists polled by MarketWatch had expected 210,000 jobs added last month. The euro EURUSD -0.02% swung between slight gains and losses, buying $1.3657 versus $1.3664 late Thursday. The euro traded at $1.3644 just before the jobs data were released. The dollar USDJPY -0.05% was at 102.34 yen versus ¥102.43 late Thursday. The dollar was at ¥102.41 just before the release.
