LSE: Dollar Mixed Ahead Of US Weekly Jobless Claims
BRUSSELS (Alliance News) - The US weekly claims for the week ended August 2 are due at 8:30 am ET Thursday. Ahead of the data, the greenback showed mixed trading against its major counterparts. While the greenback rose against the pound, it held steady against the rest of major currencies.
The greenback was worth 102.29 against the yen, 1.6829 against the pound, 0.9085 against the franc and 1.3371 against the euro at 8:25 am ET.
