The March U.S. Dollar Index is trading lower Thursday morning. U.S. economic data due out at 8:30 AM ET. Initial Jobless Claims for 02/07 are expected to be 285K vs 278K last week. Continuing claims for 1/31 are expected to come in at 2380K vs 2400K. Also at 8:30 AM ET: retail sales for January are expected to show a decline of 0.3% vs -0.9% in the previous report. Retail sales ex-autos for January are expected to show an increase of 0.4% vs -1.0%. At 10:00 AM ET, the Business Inventories for December data is expected to be 0.2% vs 0.2%. Last in the March U.S. Dollar index is 94.76 down 0.33.
