WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) -- Consumer sentiment slipped in February to a three-month low, according to media reports citing the University of Michigan index released Friday. Sentiment slipped to a reading of 93.5 from 98.1 in January. Economists polled by MarketWatch expected a 98.5 reading.
