BRUSSELS (Alliance News) - The Labor Department is due to release its jobless claims report for the week ended March 21st at 8:30 am ET Thursday. Economists expect claims to rise by 290,000, compared to an increase of 291,000 in the week ended March 14th.
Before the data, the greenback held steady against its major rivals.
The greenback was worth 118.65 against the yen, 0.9517 against the franc, 1.1019 against the euro and 1.4938 against the pound as of 8:25 am ET.
