CANBERA (Alliance News) - Reversing direction, the Australian dollar declined against its key counterparts in New York morning deals on Monday.
The aussie slipped to near a 4-month low of 1.0868 against the kiwi and near a 4-week low of 0.9256 against the loonie, off early highs of 1.0953 and 0.9307, respectively.
The aussie retreated to 1.5890 against the euro, 84.81 against the yen and 0.7069 against the greenback, coming off from its prior 4-day high of 1.5824, near 2-week highs of 85.52 and 0.7111, respectively.
The next possible support level for the aussie is seen around 0.69 against the greenback, 84.00 against the yen, 1.60 against the euro, 0.91 against the loonie and 1.075 against the kiwi.
