BRUSSELS (Alliance News) - As expected, the Bank of England kept its key rate unchanged at 0.50%. Following the announcement, the pound fell against the other major currencies.
The pound was quoted at 1.5335 against the greenback, 0.7093 against the euro, 186.94 against the yen and 1.5268 against the franc around 7:01 am ET.
