LSE: Turkish Lira Slides To 4-day Low Versus US Dollar
ANKARA (Alliance News) - The Turkish Lira declined against the US dollar in evening deals on Tuesday, as commodities weakened ahead of the Federal Reserve's monetary policy meeting beginning today.
Although the Fed is expected to stay on hold, investors await accompanying statement for more indications about the interest rate outlook in 2016.
The Lira slipped to a 4-day low of 2.8889 against the greenback, compared to Monday's closing value of 2.8687. The Lira may find support around the 3.0 zone.
