MW: Philly Fed manufacturing index turns positive for first time in seven months
A reading of manufacturing activity in the Philadelphia area returned to positive territory in March, marking the first positive reading in seven months.
The Philadelphia Fed manufacturing index rose to 12.4 from a negative 2.8 in February. That was much better than the negative 0.5 expected in a MarketWatch-compiled economic forecast.
