BZ: Asian Markets Close Mixed, Europe Mostly Higher Ahead Of Tuesday's U.S. Trading Session
 
Asian markets were mixed during Tuesday's trading session with the Nikkei 225 outperforming other markets.

The Nikkei 225 index gained 1.13 percent on Tuesday, following by a 0.81 percent gain in Australia's ASX 200 index, a 0.49 percent gain in the Mumbai Sensex index and a 0.31 percent gain in the Hang Seng Index.

Asian indices that ended their trading session in the red include a 0.37 percent decline in Taiwan's TSEC index and a 0.34 decline in the Shanghai index.

European equities were mostly higher ahead of Tuesday's U.S. market open. The Euro Stoxx 50 index was higher by 0.27 percent, while the DAX was higher by 0.21 percent. The CAC 40 index and FTSE 100 index were trading slightly higher by 0.06 percent and 0.03 percent, respectively.
