BZ: U.S. Dollar Index Moves Up, Payrolls Rise 255K
 
The September U.S. Dollar Index is trading at 96.05, up 0.33.

The U.S. dollar index is trading at the session highs.

Market chatter about global money flows and economic data is making the rounds.

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that that unemployment was 4.9 percent in July unchanged from the June rate. Non-farm payrolls rose 255,000 versus 217,000 in June.

Average Hourly Earnings increased 0.3 percent, hours worked rose to 34.5 from 34.4.

The Census Bureau reported the trade deficit widened to USD 44.51 billion in June versus a USD 40.96 billion deficit in May. Exports rose a little.
