RTRS: New Zealand dollar extends losses to 1-month lows
The New Zealand dollar extended losses on Tuesday to one-month lows against the dollar and the yen on the threat of a downgrade to the country's foreign-currency debt rating and a survey showing a dive in business confidence.
The kiwi tumbled as low as $0.5595 , its lowest since mid-December, Reuters dealing system showed, down 2.4 percent on the day.
Against the yen, the New Zealand dollar slid 2.6 percent to 50.01 yen , a one-month low. (Reporting by Satomi Noguchi)
