MW: U.S. stock futures mostly down after jobless, housing data
U.S. stock futures were mostly lower after data showing a rise in weekly jobless claims and housing starts at record-low levels. Down 52 points before the economic reports, futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average were off 77 points at 8,101. Those for the S&P 500 [$spy] fell 7 points to 829.8, while Nasdaq 100 [qqq] futures were up 3.5 points at 1,184.50.
