Oil futures rose early Wednesday ahead of data that's expected to show a build in U.S. crude inventories. Crude oil for March delivery rose 54 cents, or 1.3%, to $41.32 a barrel in electronic trading on Globex. The Energy Information Administration will release data on oil inventories at 10:30 a.m. Eastern. Analysts expect a build of 2.9 million barrels in U.S. commercial crude-oil stocks in the week ended Jan. 30, a survey by energy information provider Platts showed.
