The U.S. dollar was mostly lower against other major currencies in European trading Wednesday morning. Gold rose.
The euro traded at US$1.2872, up from US$1.2868 late Tuesday in New York.
Other dollar rates:
-89.95 Japanese yen, down from 90.29
-1.1535 Swiss francs, down from 1.1586
-1.2446 Canadian dollars, down from 1.2484
The British pound was quoted at US$1.4361, down from $1.4486.
Gold traded in London at US$922.00 per troy ounce, up from US$909.75 late Tuesday. |
